Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 04, 2026

Bagicon ("we", "us", "our") runs the online shop at bagicon.com. This policy sets out what we learn about you when you browse or buy, why we hold it, who else touches it, and what you can require us to do about it. It covers the website and every order placed through it.

1. What we collect

We keep the minimum that lets an order happen and a question get answered:

  • Identity and contact details — the name, email address, telephone number, shipping address and billing address you enter at checkout or in a message to us.
  • Order records — items bought, order numbers, delivery status, returns and refunds, and the correspondence attached to them.
  • Payment confirmation — the result of the transaction, the card brand and the last digits, passed to us by our processor.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages opened, the site that referred you, and timestamps.
  • Anything you volunteer — the content of support messages, photos sent with a damage claim, newsletter sign-ups and survey answers.

2. Payment details are not ours to keep

Payments are handled by Shopify Payments in line with PCI-DSS standards. Card numbers and payment credentials go into their systems, not ours. We could not charge your card a second time from our own records even if we wanted to, because those records do not exist on our side.

3. Why we use it

  • To take, pack, ship, track and where necessary refund your order.
  • To answer questions, process returns and resolve complaints.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
  • To understand how the shop is used and make it work better.
  • To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
  • To send marketing messages — only if you asked for them, and only until you tell us to stop.

4. Who else sees it

Your data reaches only the third-party services that make the shop function, and only the part of it they need:

  • Our e-commerce platform, which hosts the storefront and the order records.
  • Our payment processor, to authorise and settle transactions.
  • Shipping carriers, to get the parcel to your address.
  • Analytics and infrastructure providers, to keep the site running and measure its use.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where a law, regulation, subpoena or court order requires disclosure, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights, property or the safety of others.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we never hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The site uses cookies and comparable storage to hold your basket together, remember preferences, keep a session secure and measure traffic. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Strictly necessary ones cannot be switched off without breaking checkout, and disabling the rest may make parts of the site behave oddly.

6. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and commercial law requires. Support correspondence is kept while a matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case it reopens. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. When data is no longer needed for any of these purposes it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. How it is protected

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards: encrypted transport (SSL/TLS) for everything passing between your browser and our servers, restricted access to order data, and vetted providers for payment and hosting. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed — but we can promise we do not hold what we do not need.

8. Your rights and choices

  • Access — ask what we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correction — have inaccurate details fixed.
  • Deletion — ask us to erase your data, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
  • Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from any promotional email in one click, or ask us directly.

Write to support@bagicon.com to use any of these. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is really you before acting.

9. California residents (CCPA)

If you live in California you additionally have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you and why they were collected; the right to request deletion, subject to legal exceptions; the right to opt out of the sale of personal information — which for us is moot, because we do not sell it, and were that ever to change we would publish a clear opt-out mechanism first; and the right not to be treated worse for exercising any of these. Send a request to support@bagicon.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject line.

10. Children

This shop is built for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13, in line with COPPA. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete the record promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Material changes deserve a read, so it is worth checking back occasionally.
